Kadaknath Eggs

Taste

have a distinctly natural wholesome taste, free from all odours and unpleasant aftertaste.

Cage Free

The producing hens are cared for in an ethical manner and housed humanely on deep litter. No cages are used and management of the birds environment takes into account behavioural requirements and provides for sufficient free movement, fresh air and natural daylight according to the needs of the birds. The hens are free to move and socially interact within the enclosure, unlike hens from Industrial farms which are kept in Battery Cages. Our birds have ample access to sunlight and natural environment and perching arrangements are provided for the birds to rest. Urban nests are provided for birds to lay their eggs in a secure and private domain.

Nutritionally Rich & Balanced Vegeterian Diet

No antibiotic or synthetic colouring agents or any artificial stimulants are incorporated in the feed. The birds are fed a completely balanced nutritional diet, mixed in specialised feed mill on the farm premises. The diet offered to our hens consists of Maize, rice derivatives, soya, sunflower, limestone, vitamins and other organic plant materials. No material of animal origin is included in the feed. It has no antibiotics, hormones, growth stimulants, chemical yolk colouring pigments etc. Thus while our feed is not organically grown, it is very much chemical and antibiotic free and as such is as close to organic as practically possible.

Infertile

are infertile eggs produced in hygienic conditions, thus are not prone to spoilage. These eggs are laid by hens with no Male present and as such will never contain any living germplasm. To Quote Mahatama Gandhi from his essay - The Moral Basis of Vegetarianism

"On the other hand, eggs are regarded by the layman as a flesh food. In reality, they are not. Nowadays infertile eggs are also produced. The hen is not allowed to see the cock and yet it lays eggs. A infertile egg never develops into a chick.
