This course is designed for absolute beginners. People who do not have any exposure about first aid or pre-hospital care can participate in this course. This course will equip participants with introduction of first aid, scene safety, calling for help, safely transporting the injured and handling various types of emergency situations.
Generally, BLS training holds validity of two years. It is possible that a person trained in BLS may forget certain procedures used in BLS. Therefore, it is recommended to undergo a refresher course after every two years. This course shall help in brushing and revising the essential details taught in BLS training.
This is a specially designed course for those who wish to establish themselves as BLS trainers and want to deliver training further to various community groups. This program covers aspects of BLS in detail along with evaluation of delivery of training. It is recommended that BLS Trainers should also undertake refresher course if they do not practice or deliver training for a long duration.
